Dosage is determined by body weight, individual body chemistry, the condition you are treating, and the strength of the CBD. It’s best to always start with a low dosage and increase as needed. In general terms, CBD comes from hemp while THC comes from marijuana. CBD (cannabidiol) does not give the psychoactive ‘high’ associated with THC.

Although from the same plant species (Cannabis), hemp and marijuana are two very different plants when it comes to genetics, cultivation and chemical processes. Hemp is made for many items such as rope, fabrics and CBD extracts, whereas marijuana is made to yield high levels of THC. Conversely, hemp has very low levels of THC (defined as 1% and under) and has no psychoactive properties.

CBD extracted from the hemp plant won’t get you high or make you feel drowsy. The hemp plants we use to extract our CBD distillate contains less than 0.3% THC, is 100% natural plant based, and non-addictive

Broad spectrum contains CBD and other cannabinoids without THC and full spectrum CBD is the full plant extract with all the cannabinoids found in that plant including THC.

High Run only uses Full Spectrum CBD. The reason we believe in using Full Spectrum is because many studies have shown that even though there is not enough TCH  for you to feel any effects, the CB1 receptor in our brains needs at least a small amount of THC for the other cannabinoids to attach to it. It simply works better.

As of 2017, Mexico has legalized the sale of CBD products and the cultivation of hemp plants containing up to 1% THC. High Run uses CBD from Oregon farms which are regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration. All of our CBD has been 3rd party lab tested, is 98%+ pure CBD and contains less than 0.3% THC.

A 2011 review by PubMed on the safety and side effects of CBD found that continuous use of CBD, even in high doses like 1,500 mg a day, is tolerated well by humans.
